Day Without Hate

This Emmy-Award winning short film showcases 15 years of student-led efforts to promote peace and nonviolence in schools. Founded in Colorado after the Columbine school shooting, their grassroots initiative has grown from one school to 35 states and 7 countries worldwide. The students' work has been recognized with the "Global Call to Action" Award, presented by 15 Nobel Peace Laureates.

  • Emmy Award, 2x Telly Award, Davey Award, Anthem Award, and garnered acclaim at multiple U.S. and International film festivals, including winning the honor of "Best Social Justice Film" and "Best Documentary"

  • The film's accolades, awards, and recognition at various film festivals, would lend credibility and visibility to the cause, increasing awareness and support for the movement, attracting more attention to the important social justice issues depicted in the film and solidifying its reputation as a powerful, respected, and impactful piece of media.

  • This social impact film had a significant positive effect on students and communities. By highlighting the grassroots peace movement in schools, it inspired young people to take action and make a difference in their own schools and communities.

  • The film sparked important conversations across the U.S. and internationally about social justice, conflict resolution, and the power of collective action. SOCIAL IMPACT CONSULTING OUTCOMES

  • Advocacy at city and state levels resulting in  flags flown at the State Capital in honor of students work ftowards peace and nonviolence.

  • Drafted the Day without Hate State Proclamation for April 24th. This proclamation was accepted and made an official Proclamation by Colorado Governor Polis and Denver Mayor Hancock in 2020.

  • Nonprofit Consulting: community engagement, media exposure, strategic outcomes, including 90 Day Board Plan, operational and board policies and procedures, and public relations.
